Solo Concert
Solo electro-acoustic music featuring acoustic percussion, electronics, found sound collage, processed flutes & voice, spoken word. Ranging from contemplative to raucous & occasionally pretty, this is abstract, primarily instrumental work is not background atmospherics but will demand attention & challenge the listener. My compositions allow and require that I improvise large portions of the pieces, so every performance is different and sensitive to the unique interaction of material, setting and audience.
Suitable for intimate performance venues, galleries, museums, houses of worship, house concerts.
Museum Curators: contact me about creating a composition around an exhibit or program you are offering.
Churches, Spiritual Groups, & Friends Meetings: I offer a service of devotional, contemplative music.

Live Music & Video
I team up with video artist Diana Slattery to create an immersive artform that takes shape right before your eyes and ears. Diana plays Live Glide, her video performance system and I play solo sound with Audiomulch, field recordings and acoustic instruments. We each allow ourselves to be influenced by the other to create a dance of light and sound. Our pieces can last up to an hour in length & are always inspired by our setting. Technically, we present material in formats from flat-screen projection with stereo audio to full hemispherical dome projection with audio spatialized in 8 channel surround sound. Suitable for gallerys, museums, theater-type performance spaces, domed cinemas, planetariums.FMI, Please see Domeworks at Schenectady Museum and Bat Shadows in the Moonlight.
Live Music: Hemingway's Cat
Duo with Lorah Yaccarino. Lorah plays acoustic and electric 12-string guitars and other string instruments. I play electrified psaltry, acoustic percussion, electronics, and spoken word. Our sound ranges from soft as lace to hard as metal with a lot of fun and important stuff in between. Something to make you dance, to chill out, contemplate, or rend clothing. Suitable for festivals, galleries, clubs, women's and LGBT events.

Accompaniment
Singer-songwriters, poets, storytellers....
I'm available for live and remote accompaniment or collaboration. I use wide assortment of real acoustic percussion instruments for an organic sound that is vastly richer than beatbox grooves. My rhythmic grooves in 4/4 or odd time cycles, drones, washes and sound collages will give your music a distinctive sound . I can accompany you live if your gig is in close proximity to me (currently NYC, Hudson Valley & vicinity) or I can provide tracks from my studio to yours over the internet. Not all projects are a good aesthetic fit, so I recommend that we exchange sample work in advance before booking.
